Mount Righteous is playing at Andy’s on Friday. Not 100% sure what time we’re playing…but we’ll be there around 6pm. We’re playing with SLEEP WHALE, OLA PODRIDA (Austin) , SPOOKY FOLK, and CALEB IAN CAMPBELL.
HAR HERRAR (Mount Righteous alum Justin Spike’s project) will be playing tomorrow, Thursday, at Circa 77 Vintage at 8pm. Joey Kendall and Adam Neese will be accompanying on drums, bass, and sweat appeal. BYOB!
We’ll be in Denton for all the festivities. So come get a farmers tan with us!
In other news, The Dallas Observer did a fancy little video on us for the DC9 AT NIGHT blog. Check it:
About a week into our February tour now and we’ve all become quite attached to life on the road.
We replaced our stolen trailer and are slowly making our way to the North East. Our show tonight in Baltimore is canceled due to Snowzilla so we moseyed on over to Richmond, Virginia and jumped on a show at THE NILE. Thanks to those lovely folks over there for having us at the last minute.
We weren’t sure what to expect of the South and North East as it’s our first time to travel through these parts…but the shows have been amazing. Our apologies to those who came out to the show at the Black Flower in Raleigh NC. We tried for weeks to contact them for confirmation that we were playing that show but received no response. We didn’t want to drive 7 hours to a venue only to find that we weren’t playing. So sorry for any mix up. We are not flakes or no-shows. We’ll make it up to you. We promise.
I’ll post some pictures of our travels as soon as I find my camera cord. We are all getting really good at loosing electronics and water bottles.
2006 WW Mini-Cargo Trailer, we will miss you dearly. You were a good friend. You never complained when we stuffed you full of luggage and instruments. Or when we climbed atop you to take group photos. Although, your electrical always seemed to fail at the worst of times. And one of your tires just didn’t seem to want to hold air. But nonetheless, you will be missed.
On the off chance anyone happens to see a white WW trailer with a Texas license plate #31Y ZRM…go ahead and call the fuzz. We’ll give you a reward.
And to the a-hole(s) who stole it…be sure to promote us with the 500 cds and boxfull of shirts that were in it. K thanks.
We’re leaving for our February tour in just about 3 hours. It was nice to be home for a few days…but we’re all itchin’ to get back on the road. Pretty please come see us if we’re in your town and help spread the word to people you may know in these cities. Our MYSPACE and FACEBOOK page have all the details you may need. See you out there!!!
