THIS VIDEO WILL PUSH YOUR POOP IN
January 15th, 2010Tucson to Phoenix:
Tucson to Phoenix:
We were super stoked to hear that Dry River’s doors would be open in time for our show last night. The fire marshal shut them down for a bit because that’s what fire marshals do. And they were probably bored or something. We played with some seriously incredible bands (see video below). LA PLEBE blew everyone’s minds. You should buy their album.
We played Bash Riprocks in Lubbock a few nights ago. ONE WOLF was amazing as usual (we’ll be playing with them again in Wilmington). BOATS from Sacramento was fun (just don’t call the bass player short). I would link to the other band that played, Cunningham, but I can’t find a link…
Last night was Las Cruces New Mexico. We played at Equinox. The chick who runs the place, Jasmine, is doing wonderful things for that place and for Las Cruces in general. We met Mr Happy Dog and he knows how to party. In other news, Derek couldn’t poop:
Adrian Hulet…I hope you see this:

Last night was our Amarillo show at Golden Light Cantina. Peoples were crazy and almost sold us out of shirts. Laura found her perfect cow-bell-rockout place atop a monitor. Cory and Mason got hit on the most. And we almost had to throw down with a grumpy old motel owner. But all is more than well and we’re heading to Lubbock right now for our show at Bash Riprocks.
The tour kick-off last night at Andy’s in Denton was amazing. Thanks a million times to GIGGLE PARTY for helping bring the crazy and MR. TROLL for having the most epic beard this side of the Mississippi.
We’re starting our journey west today and we’ll be in Amarillo by evening. Help spread the love to all your friends, family, co-workers, acquaintances, and enemies in the following cities! Our WEBSITE, FACEBOOK, and MYSPACE have all the event details.

Way to go 2009. You did a good job.
Here are a few things we’re looking forward to in 2010:
A full length album to be completed in early January.
A tour that will span across the majority of the US (check out our SHOWS page)
Our very own 15 passenger van.
The addition of electric guitar.
The absence of all things negative.
No more day jobs.
We also updated our WEBSITE to make information about what we’re doing a bit easier to locate.
Happy holidays to those who celebrate. Happiness anyway to those who don’t.
See ya in 2010!
We’re throwin’ ourselves a little party tonight at ZUROMA in GrapevineTX to celebrate the release of our new EP “Open Your Mouth”. We’ve been through quite a bit this year and we are extremely proud to be able to share this with everyone.
Check out our FACEBOOK and MYSPACE page to hear some of the tunes.
The show tonight is FREE! So bring $7 and pickup our new EP ya cheap basterds!

We posted a couple new tracks from our upcoming album “Open Your Mouth” on our Myspace page. We’re shooting for a release date in the next 2 weeks, so we’ll keep you posted on that.
If you’d like to pre-order a copy, let any of us know when you see us, or contact us at any of our interweb locations. $7 gets you the brand new tunes (with art by Z Marxen), a button, and a sticker! Oh my!
We’re very proud and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Peace and free healthcare,
Mount Righteous
I just noticed that iTunes categorizes “When the Music Starts” in the singer/songwriter genre. This is strange to me.
Speaking of singer/songwriters – JOEY KENDALL will be playing a solo set tonight at ANDY’S BAR in Denton. He’s playing with THRIFT STORE COWBOYS and OSO CLOSO. Seriously dudes…the place is going to be packed and the booze will be a-flowin’. See ya there!

Our friends (and Mount Righteous alumni) DISCO:HATE are having their CD release show tonight at RUBBER GLOVES. Doors open at 9. $6. There will be screaming involved.
